AXIAL FLOW
Axial agitator elements generate a flow parallel to the agitator shaft, resulting in greater flow and less shear, which is very important for shear-sensitive applications.
They create up-and-down movements within the tank.

RADIAL FLOW
Radial agitator elements direct the fluid towards the vessel wall in a horizontal or radial direction, which generates less flow but greater shear.
They move liquids and/or solids towards the wall of the mixing tank.
